Putting Your Eggs in One Basket

There is a school of thought that concentrating all your efforts on one dating site will give you the best results. The opposite of that is to spread your net as wide as possible in order to get results. We’re going to look at that a little further using our favourite search engine and “adult dating uk” as a search term.

The online dating scene has exploded over the past few years. Where once there were a couple of sites at most, any search using “adult dating uk” or other similar term gets hundreds of thousands of results. Of course they aren’t all going to be websites, and even those that seem to be, won’t be real.

Wherever there is a growth market, there are scammers. I used that term this morning as received 21,300,000 results from Google.

The case for using a single site: Concentrating efforts on a single site allows you to maximise the opportunities there. It means you have more time to put into it, to formulate proper replies and interact with others on the site. The more your presence is felt, the more you’ll be noticed.

While we’re mainly after sex, we want some kind of commitment. We want you to want to spend time and effort on us, to make us happy, to email us, to meet us or whatever. By investing time and effort you’re demonstrating that you’ll do that.

By searching Google for adult dating uk we got way too many results. Many of the sites on there are scams. Many purport to be dating sites where in reality all they want are your personal details. Bots reply to your emails to convince you to part with your money. Fortunately we’re not like that.

The case against using a single site: We have said before that adult dating is a numbers game. The more you’re out there, the more action you’ll get. The more sites you join, the more potential partners you’re exposed to. There may not be the right people on a single site for you, so using multiple sites spreads the net wider. You may have varied interests and want to join niche sites for BDSM or MILFs. Sticking with a single site won’t necessarily satisfy those needs.

There is no right answer because everybody is different. In our opinion, it’s better to stay here and make an effort than to drift in and out while trying to manage multiple profiles on multiple sites. Don’t take our word for it though. Try each and see what works. As long as we’re one of the sites you try, we don’t mind.
